With Raffaele Albani, Alfredo Andreaggi, Susanna Mollica, Eva Andreaggi. 1945: a group of Italian-American soldiers arrives in Italy at the end of World World Two and settles in the woods near a village in the Po Valley. During the dead moments of military life, the soldiers start to tell each other stories from their hometowns. The themes that link the stories together are life and death. Every fairy tale is a voyage that leads to a change: the passage from the innocence of youth towards the world of grown-up people.
